SDPtv welcomes Saiqa who becomes our first rap star.

THAT'S A RAP.

It was Sunday, the Sunday that the clocks went forward an hour, a lazy Sunday, and it was a sunny day when I got a phone call from rapper SAIQA. Twenty minutes later a car pulls up outside the office of SDPtv, and out climbs the very beautiful and sensational Saiqa.

Once inside we chatted over coffee and then Saiqa handed me her mp3 player containing her demo tracks, the first of which blew me away. I had not heard a rap song that I liked since seventies punk poet John Cooper Clarke, and you know what, that first track had a kind of Johnny Clarke groove. Titled, 'Summer', I was hooked.

 

Saiqa's stage name is Lightning Sykes, and sorry for the pun but, Lightning never strikes twice ............... oh yes it does. The next track, 'Yehboy', sounded just as hot. Then came the sexy 'Karmasu', a rappers guide to the ultimate orgasm. All the tracks sounded very professional and not only are these tracks very danceable, but equally chill-out-able, but most of all very hook-able.

So I thought that this would be a opportunity to call a photo shoot and I rattled off a few photographs to work on later, this chick can model as good as her rapping, great pics, great stuff, great fun.

So thanks for a fantastic afternoon and evening, and it gives me a great pleasure to welcome onboard Saiqa on SDPtv.co.uk.
