Question: How do you write the email?
Answer:
Begin with Good morning/Afetrnoon or Dear Sir/ Ma'am. Say a bit about
yourself (name age city your from). Say your a huge fan of the team if
you like a player on a team you can put his name in. Than Say I am
writing this email to see if you could send me a fan pack (NOTE- for
all other nations request a match day programme, team poster, stickers,
etc as the term "Fan Pack" is used in North America Only). End with
thanking them for their time than place name and address finish with
yours sincerley etc.
Tips: - Always be polite at all times. Please and thank you's
- Keep the email short, sweet and to the point
- Add Correct mailing address.
- Request if they could please email you back. This may give you a idea when you will get one.
- If you copy paste to many teams make sure you change player and teams names.
Question: How do You Contact the teams?
Answer:
Go to the teams websites and on tho their "contact us" page. There you
should find the teams email address. Some teams have many email
addresses. In this case pick the best one suited to the email. E.G.
General Enquiries, fan packs, public relations etc. If the team has a
feeback form fill that in.
Question: Do all teams send out fan packs?
Answer:
Not all teams do as these are "free" but you will find most teams do.
Espically if your from that Country. Best Way to find out if a teams
does. Search my site see if i have got one before. go to their website
FAQ'S page they may say they do or do not. Some teams do require you to
send am SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelop) as they do not send out
fan packs via emails.
Tip: These teams I have found do not send out Fan Packs.
- Cincinnati Bengals
- Seattle Seahawks
- Chicago Bears
- Colorado Avalance, Houston texans and NY Yankees all require a SASE.
Question: Do All Countries Have Fan Packs?
Answer: The term "Fan Pack" is only used in North America. English football send team photos and match day programmes. And Other nations send team posters, stickers cards etc. To answer the question most nations teams do have some sort of a fan pack YES.
Question: If you recieved a fan pack will I?
Answer: NO It is up to the team weather they send one to you or not. There may be many reason depending on stock, where you live, time of year, etc. Legal Disclaimers
