This year I have the privilege of teaching second grade. This is my fifth year as a member of the South Fork Staff and I have enjoyed every minute. I graduated with my teaching credential in 2002 and meet all No Child Left Behind Requirements as well as CLAD and CTAP I and II.

I love second grade and feel blessed to find myself in this position once again. This year second grade students will be learning to write really good paragraphs (five to seven sentences), simple parts of speech, spelling rules, and all about regrouping in addition and subtraction. They will also explore maps, their community, life cycles, and what it means to be a compasionate human being.
