My name is Robert Scrivener. Photography has been a hobby of mine for several years; in 2004, I began doing portraits for friends as word spread of my work. I enjoy photography and interacting with customers! It has always been my desire to produce high-quality pictures that uniqely capture an individual's personality in the manner they wish to portray.

I am the primary photographer of Scrivener Camera Works, but on occasion will bring one or more assistants with me as needed. As of right now, we are not set up for formal studio photography; but we conduct our photo sessions in attractive and tasteful locations around the Mississippi Delta and Memphis regional areas. It's important to know your photographer and the type of equipment he or she uses.

Scrivener Camera Works is set up to take only high quality prints via Canon 35mm film SLR (single-lens reflex) cameras. Any digital images are made from optically scanned 35mm film negatives by a professional processor. We never scan the print, and never use consumer-grade scanners, printers, or paper.
Jasper Ewing & Sons of Jackson, MS, is our primary photo lab; however, at customer request, other labs may be used.
