Due to limited space, submissions of articles and essays should be limited to 1500-2000 words. Flash fiction of up to 500 words is also welcome. Poetry should be no more than 12 lines and up to three poems may be submitted in one submission period. Reviews of books, movies, videos, music or video games are welcome but should be no longer than 500 words. Reviews do not neccessarily have to be done on new releases, just any of the afformentioned items that you might like to recommend to others. Letters to the editor and reader's responses will be published, as they've been sent.
Paranormal fiction and true stories should be 500- 750 words, though exceptions can be made in this case.
Any style or genre will be accepted, with the exception that no excessive violence, gore or graphic sex will be allowed. All submissions should be sent via email to: TheScribblerInk@yahoo.com. "Submission" should be written in the subject header and your submission should be in the body of the email; no attachments will be accepted. Submissions, here, are taken on a non-paying basis, however all writers retain the rights to their work and a link to their website will be listed on the favorite links page. Also, if you have a chapbook, novel or book of any type coming out, we can list it on our classified page. Just include all information when you submit, along with your bio and weblinks. Response time generally is about seven to ten weeks. Items for next month's issue should be submitted by the 30th of the month. Good luck to all who submit!
