To Whom it may Concern;
My name is Brody Chapman. I am 12 years old and I have cancer, Leukemia. I was diagnosed Easter Monday, 2007 and am still getting treatment.
I am writing to you to ask you to support a very important project that not only helped me but will help all children who are diagnosed with cancer. There are two ways you can help support my project. You can either make a donation, or donate supplies. We would also be happy to include your name, or company name in the package that we provide to the kids.
When I was admitted into the hospital, my aunt gave me a camera and a scrap booking kit so that I could make my own photo diary for this journey called cancer and to remember all the people who are helping me.
When my mom and I were working on it in the playroom, other kids and parents would come and see what we were doing. Some of the other kids helped me with it too. They all thought it was a cool idea.
I've had a lot of fun working on my scrap book and I want to share this idea with other kids who are going through this same fight as me with cancer. I know I can't make them better but I can help make them feel better. My goal is to provide every child diagnosed with cancer a "Scrapping with Cancer" kit.
Each kit will be designed for either a boy or a girl.

Basic Scrapping tools·
Carrying case to hold kit·
Personal letter from me (which is enclosed with this letter)This is a big project and my mom says we can't do it by ourselves, we need help. We need your help. Please help me help other kids like me, there is a lot of us who need you.
