Hello and welcome to the Southampton City Petanque Pilgrims official website. Here you will find all you need to know about the Pilgrims for this season, from the results to the players. SCPC is one of many petanque clubs who have been split into two different teams. SCPC is split into the Saints lead by Graham Galton, and the Pilgrims who lead by Jean Delavault. After a tough 2006 season, the Pilgrims tasted the bitterness of relegation from division 2 after a successful campaign to promotion the season before. Now determined to make it back to division 2 petanque again, the Pilgrims must once agian show the determination and fighting spirit of 2005!
Our captain for the new season is the all inspiring Jean Delevault who successfullly captained the Pilgrims to playing division 2 petanque. It will be a tough season ahead as the 2007 season will introduce the first league meeting between SCPC Pilgrims and SCPC Saints who are just as eager to taste division 2 petanque after just missing out o promotion last season.
