Khorne is the Blood God, one of the gods of the Chaos Space Marines. Units with the Mark of Khorne are good in close combat and are known to get into close combat quickly seeing as they have Blood Frenzy. (Roll a D6 for each unit with the Mark of Khorne, on a 1 or a 2, the units move an extra D6" to the nearest enemy and skip their shooting phase, otherwise they move normally.) I chose to make an army with the Mark of Khorne because I thought it would be interesting to make an army that excels in close combat. I also chose it because I thought it would be easy to expand the Khornate army further later to Chaos Undivided if I wanted to.
