Alister Cluckie 

Alister is 10 years old, he lives and goes to school in Dalrymple which is about 6 miles from Ayr.  For his 8th birthday his uncle gave him his first pet birds which he did everything for and tried to tame them.  After about a year he asked for a bigger flight for them and this was built in his uncle's back garden. The hobby grew when his uncle started working in a college and he got talking to someone who was also in the hobby and Alister bought his first birds from him. Alister's first show was Dumfries 2007 and he was as proud as punch when he came home with red first cards from the show. 2008 has been Alister's first full year of showing and he has won 3 shows.  North Ayrshire -  Best Junior Young Bird, Best Junior Any Age. Land O' Burns - Best Junior Any Age.  Stranraer Best Junior and Best Junior Any Age. The whole family has now become involved, attending shows and helping at home, enjoying it so much that his brother and two sisters have now decided to join the hobby too. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------  Shannon Martin Here's a pic of Shannon Martin winning Best in show and Best Grey Green in show at the Fraserburgh CBS Show Shannon's been keeping budgies since the age of six and decided to show her last season as a junior. This year she is going into partnership with her dad and one of his friends so will enter the ranks of beginner,but, the family involvement doesn't stop there, Shannon's been coaching her young sister so she's also going to start showing this season.
