Scottish Borders Ghostwatchers

We ( myself and hauntedlighthouse) decided to check this location out and see if we could see or hear anything.
we arrived at around 21:50 and parked at side of road just about 3 ft away from bridge.At 22:00 we started filming on night vision camera and continued till 22:30,road was quite busy for that time of night and one or two of the cars were like going to slow down for us but continued on.The footage was very interesting,at 22:14 an unexplained item came out from side of road,on other side of bridge to us,and went towards centre of road.Then it floated to other side of road then started to come towards our car then shot of into woods to the same side that it came from.

Due to the success of the last investigation of this site we went back and concentrated on the area where the last apparition appeared only this time we used two cameras instead of one.Sadly the video footage that was taken on this night had nothing at all to show.

We hit the trail towards the local 17th Century tower for our first visit to this location of 2006,the team consisted of myself, hauntedlighthouse,busby,dave,jas & his partner.
On arrival things felt very calm & the rain was falling very sparingly but we entered the tower & entered the basement,windchime was hung on hook for a trigger object.Two camcorders,three emf meters,one dictaphone,one digital camera,one laser thermometer and a whisper 2000 machine were used to investigate.
On the night itself things were pretty quiet with only one orb witnessed exiting from dictaphone on the floor in basement.Wind chime swayed on request near end of the night.When we reviewed footage on camera & both videos more orbs were witnessed.A good nights invest.

The first outing for the new improved s.b.g.w group. we arrived at 10:30pm and met up with the rest of the new team and started at the memorial.The map of the site was checked with a crystal and a couple of spots were found to react with it,one of them being an area that gave us success last year(the field with shadows and sound of horses hooves).My camcorder started to play up as soon as i got it out of the bag so that was out,the digital camera wasn't wanting to work properly either.we made our way to the cottages at bottom of the walk and we split into two groups,i tried to get camcorder to work so i tried the other one which i couldn't get a picture at all ,no emf,thermometer was erratic between -10 to +13 degrees c,no sounds picked up on the whisper 2000 apart from wind etc.
On the way back to car i managed to get one camcorder to work so some footage to review yet but other than that a pretty disappointing night.we finished at around 12:15am

Arriving after 10:30pm along a bumpy road we got stuck into the first part of investigation.I went up a narrow corridor with a night vision camera which had pidgeons above one section of it.At the far end was captured a spirit sitting on a chair on a previous investigation by the other members of the group but strangely there was no chair there at the time.Anyway i got a number of orbs and lights on camera.
Second part is reported to being very active indeed with a very angry spirit,a number of photos were taken by other members and orbs were seen,one or two reports of cold spots and being touched.I went further in to get a better view with camcorder after i caught a large orb just in front of camera.Tried to rattle spirit with coward taunts which did work for other members being touched etc.
third part was a bit quieter for me and my camcorder but a few orbs were captured by the others.
This investigation as a whole was VERY good indeed. finished at 12:20am

12/08/06 Littledean tower

We got permission to take a look at this location and walked down a field to get to it.Very large tower with an unusual shape,very derelict and not accessible to the inside sadly.
I continually recorded the visit on camcorder and got some light anomolies,many other members were fortunate enough to get some orbs and light anomolies on digital camera too.A couple of reports of being kicked whilst at tower were reported and a couple of strange noises coming from long grass around us too .
Rain coming on sadly brought an end to this location.

This is our first visit to this location with our new group on board so i was rather excited to be doing this location.When we arrived at 10:15pm there were a couple of birds in the trees making a squaking noise which lasted more or less throughout the whole investigation.
We started in the kitchen area (basement) and had one or two light anomolies straight away,one or two photos were taken then the cameras stopped working(staying like that till we all got home by the way),the camcorder did last out throughout the visit and we are hoping we got a lot of unusual goings on here.
The emf meter did let out a beep now and again,we requested some signs of spirits present and at one point two faint bangs were heard upstair and no-one was up there .
Upstair was checked out and one or two signs and noises were heard .
A trigger object (bell on a stand) was placed on the floor in middle of room in basement but sadly it did not ring.
This visit was a reasonable success and everyone were happy with results,finished at 12:05am.

Arriving at 10pm we made our way towards the church and started taking photos but our psychic krissie's camera stopped working again exactly as it did last weekend at the local 17th Century tower .I was filming everything on the camcorder.There was an uneasiness around the church but nothing to bother about. When we moved to the division of the old and new part of graveyard things changed, the area felt very cold to krissie & she felt that she was burning up and at one point heard what she can only describe as charging horses.
Everyone in the group were hearing sounds described as coughing,footsteps,branches breaking in near wood and the horrible feeling of being watched.The overall atmosphere was described as unwanted there and we were being shown the way out.Having reviewed the video evidence of the nights investigation to the local old graveyard we witnessed at least two light anomolies which were very good ones,one was a thread like orb whilst standing at entrance to church and the other was a small beautiful ball of light which shot between two gravestones and at the time i can be heard as saying it was a reflection but the gravestones were not the shiney type so i was convinced on viewing that it was a good orb

We arrived at the battlefield carpark just after 10pm and the weather was beautiful all day unlike last year on the anniversary of the battle.
First stop is a visit to the battlefield monument,situated at the top of the hill, to pay our respects and gather our thoughts before we begin.It is dark but the moon is partly full which helps to film with camcorder.
Next we make our way down the right side of the field towards the gate at the bottom.We turn left here to head along the battle trail next to drain in field,i walked on ahead to get the mood of the night as my camcorder battery cut out with at least 360 minutes still left in it .Changed battery and continued,picked up on a rodent of some sort jumping in hedge so shon torch in that direction only to get a hissing sound coming from hedge for my troubles.Other members of the crew took photos during the night including some outside the derelict cottages,orbs were captured here.At this point we decided to end the investigation.All seemed to be peaceful on that night.

This location is a strange one as far as it goes,very eerie indeed.
There always seems to be a feeling of not being welcome when we go to this location and this time was no exeption.
The team were meeting at the church at 10pm but we arrived early but wished we hadn't,it was pitch black and there were lights in the sky around the church flashing in the clouds and through the mist,
Once everyone were present we made a start and decided that we would stick together because our psychic had a feeling that it was advisable.A number of photos were taken and the camcorder recorded the full investigation.There were quite a number of blue spark like lights flying past us at times and flashes around the door.At the end of the night we were standing by my car discussing the nights findings when a sound of a horse naying was heard next to us which gave us all a fright due to the ghostly horse story associated with this location,who knows.The field opposite the church was checked out,at the time,but no horses were seen there.No horse sounds were heard throughout the investigation either.

This was a new location to us so we didn't know what to expect but found it ok .The first fright of the night was when we turned off main road onto the farm track to the church yard and saw a bull peering over a fence,a bit of a fright for me there.The ground was damp when we arrived,pretty quiet too.The graveyard looks as though it isn't used anymore but there were a lot of empty spaces and the burials that were there were from around the 19th-20th century.A plaque as we went in said that the church was demolished by Cromwell's gang so there has been a burial ground here for a long time.With this info we thought that the nights invest would be a good one but sadly there basically wasn't anything that i had to report from this location,a couple of cold spots maybe but nothing more.Really peaceful though.

This investigation turned out to be one of our best at this location yet.
The wind was rather on the blowy side when we started and the odd spot of rain was felt so we decided to concentrate on the basement area where it would be dry and sheltered.
As soon as we started filming and asking out for signs we got nice orbs two in a row.We decided to use chairs to sit on and be perfectly still so as to hear more and reduce dust particles flying around from the room.Krissie's camera started playing up.One of our members was standing at the doorway and i got the fright of my life whilst panning round the room,i got the figure of what looked like an evil horned spirit looking over his shoulder but when i asked him to stand out of the way it turned out to be a pattern of colored stones on the wall.A number of orbs were witnessed on camera throughout the night.Whilst outside we heard what sounded like someone walking through leaves next to us at front corner of tower but no leaves were there at the time.Back inside and whilst filming near the door and slotted window next to it i heard a whisper saying what sounded like " eyeball eyeball " which i thought was an unusual thing to hear,no one else in the group were near enough to have said it and it certainly was not me either so where did it come from.Shortly after that a snorting sound was heard from the same area and also the sound of a gate being dragged shut twice inside building,preceded by heavy breathing all of which was not heard at the time of the investigation.We called it a day at that point and went home.

We headed back to this location as the planned investigation for the night was cancelled at the last minute.A small bunch of us arrived at the first section of this location and got stuck in straight away,the wind was fairly strong and was causing a few problems when it came to asking for any signs via knocking etc.Photos were taken by a couple of members.I filmed a part at the rear corridor and caught on camera what looked like a stone like object fly past us and land with a loud noise in front of us,this was not picked up at the time so item was not looked for .
Section two is the area that has a strong presence to it and when we were last here we got one or two good orbs on video.The video picked up an orb like light light fly past the camera.Section three of our investigation was a bit disappointing with nothing that i could see appearing before me.

At the Northumberland battle site & secret location two A recent poll we held on the sbgw forum asked members to chose from a number of locations that i would go to by myself and this is the chosen one but unfortunately the evening became more windier than expected and i got through thirty five minutes of the investigation before having to abandon it due to the wind.However all of the investigation that was started was caught on film and i did catch a slight light anomoly at the site of where the scots were slain in the muddy area of the battlefield.
