Movies from the Crypt Season four has begun! Hoorah! Yes, the wanna-be Mystery Science Theater show has started yet another season! They have realeased their first episode of season four "Last Woman on Earth" and are working on episode two (the movie that will be commented on has not been released to my knowledge). The robot team and their torturer Doctor Frostbender will once again rule the Entertainment of Scotteration Incorperated.

I would like to point out one of my favorite episodes of all time for Movies from the Crypt, "The Beginning of the End", where the gang makes fun of an old horror movie about, wait for it, GIANT GRASSHOPPERS!!! Wow, doesn't that movie sound god awful or WHAT! It was by the way, which is always a good thing in the case of Dr. Frostbender, who was sure this movie was going to make the robots completely insane, but, neverless, the robots pulled it together and pointed out the long list of flaws in the movie. Ok, the grasshoppers looked like moving cardboard cut-outs of grasshoppers, the movie, as all horror movies, didn't have anything that resembled a plot, and the biggest and most obvious bad thing about the movie was they repeated at least 7 scenes 4 times!!! Ok, for example, a grasshopper eats a man in the forrest by two trees, then, it shows the same scene again. Ok, a minor flaw. Then they show the scene again, except, they added another grasshopper in the backround. Ok, now it becomes annoying. Then the same scene with an added tree. Now it's mystery science theater level bad! They kept doing this until, finally, the scene changed overall. No, this didn't happen once in the movie. The movie was 2 hours of 7 scenes repeated and repeated over and over again, with little added extras along the way. It was horrible, but fortunatly MFTC made the movie bearable by doing what they do best, putting the movie down like heck. Ok, today we will be discussing... HOT FUZZ!!! The creators of Shaun of the Dead brings you an action packed comedy about a London police officer Nicholas Angel is reassigned to the Village of the Year Sandford Village. Strange accidents happen, which seems to be functioning in a line of murders. He and partner Butterfield set out on the case. There is a puzzle happening, people disappearing... Oh whatever, I'm gonna give you the minor highlights of Hot Fuzz! Ok, first off, Nicholas and his partner are fighting in a bar, popping up and down to shoot. Nicholas notices a bear trap haging over the bartender's head. He shoots it, and ta-da! It falls on the bartender's head and does not release. Ok, another scene, here we are in a grocery store, two chefs behind a bullet proof case and throwing knifes at Nicholas and his small squad. Their bullets can't penetrate the glass, so Nicholas makes a battering ram out of shopping carts and his squad pushes the shopping carts forward while two other are shooting at the chefs to protect the squad. The shopping cart breaks through, killing the chefs. Ok, I'm not telling all of you any more, don't want to spoil everything... ok, yes I do, but government contracts keep me from saying anything else. I definetly recommend this movie for buying and watching OVER and OVER again! I also recommend Shaun of the Dead, but if I had to choose between Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, I'd pick Hot Fuzz. Have fun watching Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in another kick butt movie!
