Science Fiction and Fantasy - Also called Speculative Fiction and SciFi, Science Fiction and Fantasy encompasses a broad selection of literary styles that have fascinated millions of fans around the world for generations. Science Fiction and Fantasy authors have contributed to the pulp action genre, monster stories and horror, action/adventure, westerns, and they gave rise to the action genres of spaceships and ray guns (called "space opera"), sword and sorcery (also called "barbarian" fiction), and epic mythological concepts.
