The Zwinger von der Etterstrasse was registered 1991 with the Verein fuer Deutsche Schaeferhunde, (German Shepherd Dogs Society) and is located in Obersulm, South-West-Germany. Only a few miles away from Karlsruhe, the birthplace of the German Shepherd Dogs.

 Walt and Christine take pride in their dogs and love it more than anything. Success with all their dogs, in every show and with every test and contest, countless trophy s decorate the office and tell the story. The competitions take place on three levels, County, State and National. Breeders and dog lovers from around the world bought their GSD s with Walt and Christine. You can find these fine dogs today in: U.S.A., Brasil, Austria, China etc. etc.

Walt: It is a big responsibility, indeed a 24 hour job. I cannot imagine myself doing anything else. We are not in it for big profits, because there is no such thing, if you do it right. Each dog needs a great deal of care and the best of everything. These things do not come cheap!

Walt is not only registered as a breeder with the Society for German Shepherd Dogs, he also is a active member on the board of directors.
