SCBC PrayerNet for Youth

Pray for our youths until Christ is formed in them

Meditation For The Week

Meditation for the week:

And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.

Luke 2 : 40

Sometimes when things go wrong in the lives of our youths, it is very difficult to watch them suffer. We tend to blame ourselves for not being better parents. We beat ourselves up because we are not perfect. Yet, it is not being a perfect parent that makes the difference in the lives of our youths. None of us are perfect, so how can we be perfect parents? It is being a praying parent that makes the difference. And that¡¯s something we all can be.

The greatest gift that we can give to our children is our daily prayer. We pray not only for their health, safety and daily needs, but we also pray for their character, spirituality and the fruits of the Spirit to be developed.

So, let us pray purposefully for our next generation !

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying¡

Ephesians 6 :18
