GEORGE LAZENBY BOND PROPS

Radioactive Lint in Container

This gadget can be seen at the start of the film Q puts it on M's desk and explains that it is a new method of keeping track of an agents location. The idea is for the Lint to be placed into a targets pocket and it will show up on a radar. The prop pictured is the now very rare SD Studios replica which was part of the SD Studios desktop range. It was only available for a short time and they are very hard to find. it comes mounted on a fantastic plaque explaining what the prop is. I can provide a nice replica of this device if anyone is interested please contact me at slicksickmick@msn.com

Aston Martin DBS Glove Compartment Rifle

We first see James Bond driving a new Aston Martin DBS in the pre-titles sequence of OHMSS. The car is used to introduce George Lazenby as 007. The car plays a very significant part in the film from start to finish. The new Aston Martin Features only one main Bond accessory; An AR-7 snipers rifle in the Glove compartment. The same type of rifle seen in Bond's attache' case in 'From Russia With Love' this version however is much rarer as it has a wooden rifle stock. These were produced in very low quantities. The Glove Compartment contained; AR-7 rifle stock which contained the receiver barrel and magazine, a silencer and a telescopic sight which Bond used to zoom in and watch tracy on the beach as she is about to commit suicide. The props team on the film removed the original Glove compartment from the car and replaced it with a custom made Glove compartment which housed the Red rifle tray. I made the rifle stock by a hand carved method from walnut. I also made the silencer and I sourced the telescopic sight. I also made the red rifle tray from hard foam and red felt like the one seen in the film. Each piece fits snugly into its own section on the gun tray. This method of weapon storage has become something of a tradition with James Bond. The Aston martin DB5 in Goldfinger had a weapons tray under the drivers seat, however this was not seen in the film. Bond's BMW 750IL in Tomorrow Never Dies features a safe containing a spare gun in the glove compartment and in Casino Royale 007's new Aston Martin DBS features a Glove compartment which holds a silenced Walther P99 alongside some other useful gadgets.

OHMSS - DAGGER

A very, very hard knife to find WWII dagger. This knife sells for £130 and above. It is a Vintage Solingen West German Dagger. My prop pictured is complete with its original Scabbard. The knife was used by Draco's s silent henchman. The dagger ends up in Bond's hands when Bond takes on 3 of Draco's men outside Draco's office. Once inside the office Bond very cooly throws the dagger into the calendar on the far wall. An expert knife thrower was brought in by the film makers to hit the calendar with the dager however he failed on many attempts. John Stears got it in 1 take by rigging the knife up to a wire.

Dracos Calendar Page

This is the calendar page in Dracos office which 007 throws a dagger into. Anyone wanting a replica please contact me. at slicksickmick@msn.com

Hilary Bray Document

This Document was copied by Bond using a safe cracking / photocopying machine. It was inside Gumbold's safe a lawyer in Switzerland conected with Blofeld. The scene is filled with suspence and a fantastic music score when Bond is breaking into the safe while Gumbold goes for his lunch. Gumbold's safe documents and other paper props can be obtained from www.theSpyboys.com

PLAYBOY - February 1969

This issue of Playboy can be seen being read by Bond while inside Gumbold's office. As he is waiting for the safe cracking code machine to open the safe, as he waits he finds this magazine inside a newspaper. Bond steals the magazine as he leaves the office just as Gumbold returns from his lunch.

James Bond's Escape tool

When James Bond is posing as Sir Hilary Bray at Piz Gloria, he tries to escape from his room, At first he removes a long metal piece from a ruler on his desk and runs it up and along the door frame and he gets a mild electric shock. He then fashions this tool from some items on his room desk including a rubber and a bulldog / letter clip. The tool allows him to leave his room and go to the angels of death's rooms. He then discovers that a simple finger nail file is just as effective for opening the room doors from the inside.

Angel of Death Make - Up Kit

This was Blofeld's main method of dispensing; Virus 'Omega' which was something blofeld had created that would cause infertility in plants, animals and humans. Piz Gloria was disguised as an allergy clinic. Blofeld cured women from all over the world. But at the same time he was subconsciously training them to be his tools for spreading the virus. Each girl was given a case containing a number of objects disguised as make - up accessories. The Antomizer in the case contained the virus and the compact mirror was a radio receiver. Blofelds 'Angels of Death' would, at midnight switch on the receiver to listen for Blofelds voice to receive instructions from Piz Gloria. The radio compact was activated by adjusting the volume control which made the aerial pop out.

Minolta Spy Camera

Used by OO7 at the end of the film. He used this pocket spy camera to photograph the map containing the Angels of Death's locations. There is 2 versions of the famous Minolta Spy Camera be sure you get the metal silver version as there is an older land less accurate model. Also there is 3 types on Minox spy cameras which range from the Minox A, Minox B and the Minox C.

Tracy's Wedding Ring - All The Time in The World

Probably the rarest and most desirable piece of merchandise from OHMSS (and any other Bond film for that matter!) is THE JAMES BOND WEDDING RING. The fabulous wedding ring Bond gave to Tracy in the film was reproduced by 'Arts Galore' of London. The ring was actually formed by the letters 'All the Time in the World' and came in a small hinged box. A replica of the illusive ring was auctioned at Christies in 2001 alongside Honey Rider's famous white bikini. Rumour has it that 'Arts Galore' produced 50 replicas and they were sold for 10 shillings a piece. The ring featured in the film has not been seen since. In film there is a deleted scene in which bond goes shopping for a ring for Tracy and the reflection of Irma Bunt can be seen spying on him in the window of the jewellers shop. This scene features in the novel when James Bond tours through antique shops looking for a ring; the film ring features a silver inner with gold lettering on the outside. The only replica of the Wedding ring is available from www.bondcollection.com.ar and they come up for sale in their eBay shop under the name of jb_worldprop
