[August 15th, 2008]
First of all, I want to say thank you SO much to everyone who voted for me during this past round of SKoW. I was blown away by your support. Hugs and kisses to you all!

Secondly, the BBD split is official. And chapter fifteen was posted yesteday!
Also, chapter two of FB was finally posted. Hurray!

[August 7th, 2008]
Man, it's been a while! School sucks, that's all I have to say in terms of an excuse. But I'm officially done for the summer, so look forward to some updates over the next month!
Chapter fourteen of BBD goes up today, so that's fun. My goal is to have chapter two of FB up within the week as well. So be on the lookout.
BBD playlist's been updated, w00t. Finally, I know.
This was really sporadic.

[July 16th, 2008]
I've finally added a page for my latest project, Welcome to the Funhouse. There isn't any information on it yet, simply because I don't want to give anything away. However, there are five pictures for the story in the Photo Gallery, so you'll get a taste of the people who have been occupying my brain for the past month!
Also, writing status:
BBD - I haven't started on chapter thirteen yet, but know what's coming next.
WTF - Chapter one will probably be posted pretty soon.
AC - Waiting for my muse to return
FB - Chapter two is about 60% complete.

[July 13th, 2008]
Voting has officially begun for round six of SKoW! I really appreciate everyone who thought to nominate my stories, and if you feel like lending your support, you can vote HERE.
The complete list of nominations is as follows:
Best Love Triangle - Complete (Lacey, Ryan and Jackson from Don't Make a Scene)
Best Love Triangle - Incomplete (Eveline, Aiden and Jordan from Abra Cadaver)
Best Chemistry - Incomplete (Maggie and Brian from Breaking Brian Deacon)
Best MC Portrayal (Eveline from Abra Cadaver)
Quirkiest Chapter Name ('Any More Sass and I'll Sweeney Todd Your Ass' from Don't Make a Scene)
Also, good luck to Louisa (angels and effects) and Katie (woodstock1969), who were also nominated!
You've got three weeks to vote, but can only put in one vote per category, so choose wisely!

[July 6th, 2008]

I just wanted to say thank you to those of you who thought to nominate my work for round six of SKoW. I am beyond flattered, and nearly had a heart attack when I got the emails. Thank you for taking the time to read my stories, and for deeming them worthy enough for SKoW. If I could, I'd buy you all a lifetime supply of Starbucks. <3
If you're feeling so inclined, please remember to vote come July 12th!
Thanks again, everyone!
Also, chapter twelve of BBD is up, and Welcome to the Funhouse is coming along nicely as well.

[June 19th, 2008]
So, my creative writing class has started, and I'm churning out lots of new work. I'm in the middle of writing a new short story, South Stacks, which is a horror story (something I've never done before). That should be posted on FP in a few days. I've added this story (no link yet) to my Oneshots/Short Stories section, and there are a few photos to go along with it, so feel free to check that out while I finish writing it!
Also, once this short story assignment is out of the way, I can get back to writing chapter ten of BBD. Right now I've got about five pages done, but I know what's all going to happen, so it's just a matter of setting aside some time to work on it. I think it's safe to say that I won't be updating this weekend, due to the amount of homework I have, as well as the short story assignment to complete, but hopefully BBD will be updated sometime next week.
------------------------------
[June 15th, 2008]
Ten days since the last update, and a few things have been updated. There's cover art for both BBD and FB, and the BBD playlist has been completely updated.
Also, chapter nine of BBD goes up today!
I'm also in the beginning planning stages of my next story, Clairvoyant. I won't be posting it until it's complete, just so that I don't have to disappoint anyone. However, my mom's been helping me plan out this really twisted (and, in my opinion, incredible) plot, and I'm VERY excited about the possibilities. So be patient, hopefully you'll see it sometime this year!

[June 5th, 2008]
I regret to inform you that I've cleaned up my FP profile, as well as this site. The following stories have been put to rest:
My Princeton Prince Charming
Run, Rivers, Run!
The Lighthouse's Tale
Invasion of the Bodyswappers
I can guarantee that it hurt me more than it hurt you to retire them, but I didn't want to give people false hope that I would be completing them. If, for some reason, I ever return to one of the above stories, I will repost it, but then and only then.
In other news, I finally managed to complete chapter eight of BBD, and once I have enough of chapter nine written to provide you with previews, I will update.
After next week, I start my creative writing class, so you'll probably be seeing some short stories from me for the next two months. Also, hopefully I'll have some more time to work on my current projects, as well as one that's been stewing in my head for a while. It's going to revolve around a dare and a murder, if I actually get around to writing it. So stay tuned for that!
Also, my goal is to produce chapter two of FB, and chapter seven of AC by the end of the summer. I know it's only June, but it may just take me that long, so be patient and bear with me, guys.

[May 23rd, 2008]
Chapter six of Breaking Brian Deacon is up!
Also, I've updated the photo I had for Maggie, and added songs to the playlist. The 'About Me' section has also been updated.
------------------------------
[May 10th, 2008]
Breaking Brian Deacon is coming along nicely! In fact, it's shaping up to be my best story yet (in my opinion)! I love these characters, I love the ability to write spontaneously, and I love that I'm not short on ideas. I'm definitely aiming to complete this one, and I don't think it'll be a problem.
Round Six of SKoW is starting up in a month, so make sure to start bookmarking your favorites so you can nominate them, beginning June 16th! Guh. I love SKoW season.
I'm pimping The Tutoring Contract by pinkshades right now. I just finished it, and while the story has yet to be completed, it was absolutely lovely! You should definitely check it out. In fact, I've updated my 'favorites' page here, and the ones listed here will be the ones I've actually completed. My favorites list on my FP profile consists of stories I've finished reading, some I've only started, and some I've been meaning to get around to and just haven't found the time yet. So just know that everything listed here, I guarantee is good!
As far as updates are concerned, I finally posted the first official chapter of Forbidden Blood! I had originally thought this rewrite would be a cinch, since I already had the framework done, but it's much harder than I'd bargained for! What with deciding which parts to keep from the original, and which to throw away... and, on top of that, writing a LOT of completely new material, well, we'll just say this rewrite is going to be slow goings, haha.
But, to compensate, BBD will be updated pretty regularly. I'm writing the story at least one chapter ahead of what I've posted (mainly so that I can provide evil teasers, heh heh), and it's coming along really, really well.
Other than that, that's all she wrote!
------------------------------
[May 3rd, 2008]
After a rather unfortunate hiatus from FP due to medical issues, I'm finally back! The semester is over in a week, and summer means lots of time for writing, despite my busy schedule. Stay tuned for a slew of updates over the next couple of weeks!
Also, I've begun a new project entitled Breaking Brian Deacon. The first chapter has already been posted at FP. Think along the lines of DMAS. I had a hankering to return to cliched high school romances, haha.
Also, Forbidden Blood has officially become the title for the Bloodlust rewrite. I've got about 25 pages written, and you can expect to see the first chapter posted very, very soon. I'm pretty excited!
------------------------------
[April 21st, 2008]
I've updated a lot of things on the site. The playlists have been moved to their respective story pages, and I've also created a page for Invasion of the Bodyswappers, which I recently took off of FP.
Also, I've updated all of the character pictures for Bloodlust/Forbidden Blood. I'd definitely check that out.
Speaking of Forbidden Blood, that's what I've decided to go with for the rewrite's title as of right now. The prologue has been posted on FP, and I'm slowly but surely making progress on it. It's all very exciting!
I've been having some major health issues lately, the most recent being kidney stones, so I'm out of commission for a few weeks. Which sucks, because finals are coming up soon, and I'm missing school again to see doctors and recuperate. Health comes first, though.
So with all this sitting around for the next week or two, I may be able to get some writing done. Keep your eyes open!
------------------------------
[April 2nd, 2008]
Well, chapter five of Abra Cadaver has been posted! I also put up a new one shot, entitled Speaking Without Words. The next week and a half isn't looking too busy, so I'm hoping to write a few more oneshots, as well as a short story, most likely entitled A Walk in the Night. I'm also planning on working on chapter six of AC.
Also, all ye Bloodlust fans - I'm VERY excited! I just bought a new notebook from the bookstore today, for the sole purpose of beginning some massive plans for the rewrite. I've been slowly thinking over some new plot twists and characters, and I may even start rewriting the prologue soon. So keep your eyes peeled, guys!
------------------------------
[March 21st, 2008]
I'm pleased to announce that Bloodlust, DMAS, and my upcoming project all have graphics to go along with them! Everything is copyrighted by me, so please don't steal. You can find the pictures under each story's individual page, or my new 'graphics' page. Take a look!
Also, chapter four of AC was posted the other day, and chapter five is shaping up nicely. Hopefully you'll be able to see another chapter soon!

[March 16th, 2008]
The results for the fifth round of SKoW are in, and...

Thank you, everyone, who voted for me, and for DMAS. I'm truly flattered. You're all fantastic!
------------------------------
[March 12th, 2008]
I'm working on redoing the entire site, so bear with me, guys!
Also, chapter four of Abra Cadaver will be up before Easter. Keep your eyes peeled!
------------------------------
[March 1st, 2008]
Chapter three of Abra Cadaver has been posted!
Also, for those of you still keeping tabs on Bloodlust, the finalists for ABNA have been announced, and I have not advanced to the next round. For the record, I'm completely satisfied with what I got out of the competition. I got my first novel out there, people read it, and now I can go back and do some major rewrites come summer. I don't think it's quite publishable yet, so it's good that Bloodlust won't be seen in print for quite a while.
Last but not least, thank you all of those who voted for DMAS, as well as myself, during this round of the SKoW awards. Winners will be announced on the 16th, so stay tuned!
------------------------------
[February 11th, 2008]
To those of you who've been voting for me in the SKoW awards, thank you so much! It's always nice to see how many people actually enjoyed your writing.
The Lighthouse's Tale has been discontinued, and you can read the reasons for that at the end of the third chapter, over at FP.
Because TLT is being abandoned, I've finally decided to try and write a story that's been eight year's in the making, tentatively titled Abra Cadaver. The page for that should be up shortly.
-----------------------------
[February 1st, 2008]
SKoW voting has commenced! If you're feeling generous, don't forget to stop by and vote for DMAS. And I feel weird asking people to vote me for Best Breakout Author, but for those of you who've already voted, I'm flattered, and thank you so much!
Also, I've posted the first chapter of The Lighthouse's Tale, and already have half of chapter two written. You know me - once I start, I just can't stop!
Added: Fanart for DMAS, and a new potential project.
------------------------------
[January 26th, 2008]
Don't Make a Scene is officially complete!
It's also been moved up to the category of Best Cliche - complete. Voting begins on February first, so I hope, if you've enjoyed it, that you consider voting!
Added: A page for my latest project, The LIghthouse's Tale.

[January 15th, 2008]
For those of you who've been following Bloodlust, I just received an email telling me I've advanced to the semi-finals of Amazon's Breakout Novel contest! If you have the time, please drop by and leave a comment! Advancement to the finals depends on customer comments, so I'm counting on you guys!
Here's the link: Bloodlust at Amazon.com
If you do decide to leave a comment, here's the blurb Amazon sent me to give to you guys:
In the semifinalist round, we're breaking new ground in our customer reviewing community: this is the first opportunity for customers to play an active role in the publishing process. The criteria for judging an unpublished book are a little bit different from the norm. Keep these pointers in mind as you're reading and remember: your voice counts.
- Be persuasive. Experts at Penguin will be relying on customer reviews as they prepare to select the finalists, so don't hesitate to tell us what you really think. The reviews that provide the most thorough, thoughtful feedback are the ones that will help Penguin choose the Top Ten.
- Quantity and quality help. The more reviews you write, and the more helpful each review is, the more likely you are to win one of our three prize packages.
- Discuss. As with customer reviews for all our products, you can comment on others' excerpt reviews and rate them. Any discussion and activity we see around specific titles will only keep us coming back for more, so feel free to speak up and banter with your peers.
- One quick heads-up: Per the contest rules, every excerpt is a maximum of 5,000 words in length. As a result, you may find that excerpts vary in length or end unexpectedly. Consider yourself warned--and happy reading!
Thanks so much, guys!
ps. Chapter sixteen has been added to DMAS, and chapter seventeen will be posted shortly.
------------------------------
[January 8th, 2008]
Added chapter fifteen to DMAS, as well as a preview for what's coming up next!
Also, DMAS has been nominated for SKoW's Best Cliche award for round five! I really need to find out who nominated me so I can properly thank them... *hint hint*
Also, a new oneshot was added to the 'upcoming projects' section, and I have a new story in mind that will be added there soon enough.
------------------------------
[January 6th, 2008]
Chapters thirteen and fourteen have been added to DMAS. Also, an FAQ page has been added!
A new story has also been added to the 'upcoming projects' section.
------------------------------
[January 2nd, 2008]
I've added a few more photos to the DMAS photos page. I know a lot of people haven't actually been to Milwaukee, so there are some pictures of the city to help you visualize the setting.
Also, chapter twelve has been updated for Don't Make a Scene. For Jackson lovers, this one's for you! (Don't worry, Ryanettes - chapter thirteen will see much more of him!)
------------------------------
[January 1st, 2008]
I've been SKOW nominated for round five's Best Breakout Author! I am flattered beyond all comprehension. Thank you so much, whoever (singular? plural?) nominated me. I'm just glad that people have enjoyed my drabbles enough to even consider me for something like that. It means a lot. You've all been great.
I hope everyone had a great New Year's!
[Chapter eleven has been added to DMAS]
