I love to spend my time crocheting items for local charities, it is very rewarding.  I volunteer for several groups and keep quite busy.  The first group i joined was the WOHCA-Wings of Hope Crafty Angels, which is a group that crafts items for Domestic Violence Victims and Survivors. We make afghans, hats, scarves, shawls, tote bags and much more. We also have an ongoing project called Squares of Hope, we all crochet or knit squares and then form them into a afghan.  There is a link on my site if you would like to read more about these charities.
