Welcome to the Diesel and Electric Division of SB Locomotives, Incorporated. For decades, railroads around the world have chosen diesel-electric and electric locomotives to provide the backbone for their fleets. The Diesel and Electric Division has been created to allow the time, space, and materials needed to further refine a technology thought to be "complete." Diesel-electrics and electrics are simple, yet effective; and get the job done. However, SBL engineers believe that this familiar technology can still yet be enhanced to greater results.
