The Seal Beach Animal Care Center is developing a program to address the issue of the exploding population of free roaming cats within our city. We have already taken in over 160 kittens this season and we are filled to capacity. Unfortunately, there will still be many more kittens and cats in need of assistance this year and we cannot help them without the support of the community. The SBACC is working to establish a comprehensive program to resolve this problem, with your help.

Some of our efforts will include:

    • Coordinating a proactive spay/neuter program.
    • Educating residents about what they can do to help.
    • Addressing questions and concerns from residents.
    • Conducting classes on how to trap feral cats for spay/neuter and how to care for a feral colony.

Please check our website frequently for updates on our program and for information about events being held in the community.

If you have questions or want to help, please email us at contact@sbacc.org or call the Center.

The volunteers of the Center look forward to working as partners with our valuable Seal Beach residents to help improve the lives of the animals in our community.
