Dance Bio:

Since my setting foot upon my spiritual path as a young girl, I have always been fascinated by the artwork in the teachings of the eastern cultures I was drawn to study. Within these sacred texts I would find a similar archetype of women throughout each, temple dancers. I have been drawn to these women and the ways of their life ever since. I feel it was only natural then for me to seek out middle eastern dance, and that I did with quite a passion. Unable to find a steady instructor, I began training in this art, and gained a fundamental knowledge of belly dance on my own while attending workshops taught by inspiring women, and devoting myself to self-study through various media and observation. Dancing for 5-6 years now, I now find my niche in the tribal fusion circle of dancers, Ambika Badi'ah. I find the freedom of cultural expression in tribal fusion suits my inner nature best, as I connect with a lineage of women that span across many cultures and ages. For me this dance is one of liberating self-expression, a personal ritual of divine worship, as well as a communal form of healing and re-connection that is much needed in our times.

Tribal Belly Dance is a fusion of traditional Belly Dancing with many other forms of dance to create a fluid, artistic, and unique body of dance movements.

Gothic Belly Dance, or "Raks Gothique" merges the styling of the Gothic or "Goth" subculture from the last 20 years with the beautiful expression of Middle Eastern Dance in both cabaret and tribal formats.

I am available for parties, club events, cultural events, renfairs, and negotiable on private parties.
