Hi, my name is Christine Aspden and I live in the small town of Darwen in Lancashire. I started breeding Persian cats in November 2002 when I bought my colourpoint girl (Crystal) from my good friend Sheila Horrocks. Sheila was kind and trusting enough to get me started on what has become a most fascinating if not time-consuming interest. I originally bought Crystal for breeding only but I will never forget Sheila's immortal words that day - 'Do you know Christine, I think she will be good enough to show'. Now this absolutely petrified me, the thought of my cat being paraded before lots of judges and members of the public. But I decided to give it a go, and to my surprise she had an all red card day (firsts). Since then we have really got the show bug and show whenever possible.
I started breeding from colourpoint lines, but now concentrate on selfs and bicolours having ceased my colourpoint breeding. I am also now focusing my efforts on van bicolours (basically very high white with little colour and these cats are very high maintenance to boot!) still with the aim of promoting all of the beautiful features of the Persian breed.

All kittens are sold with a contract relevant to the purpose for which the kitten is being sold. i.e. For pet only, breeding quality or show quality. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure. Please be sure you can take on the full time commitment that a Persian cat needs with all the additional grooming requirements that are essential.
