Save the Pitbull

Pitbulls have a long and horrible reputation. That doesn't mean all pitbulls are bad. I have one and I am out to show the world that pitbulls aren't that bad. I am tired of people judging my puppy as a monster who tears people to shreds. Because that is not what she is. She is a loving caring and cute dog! People just get the wrong impression when they hear the word pitbull. The American Pitbull Terrier needs us now more than ever! Some owners abuse and neglect their dogs, others train them to fight for money. It is a sad story that I need to share! So please listen to what I have to say as a pitbull owner.              

I have had my dog Angel for more than a year now. She is my companion and I love her. I take her over to kids when I'm out on walks and let her lick them because she loves people more than anything else in the world. They enjoy it!! Everyday when they see me they ask "Where's Angel?" They love her too. Anyone who has ever gotten close enough to pet her loved her. Even when I told them she was a pitbull they didn't care, they still fussed over her like she was their dog! I always wanted a puppy and I decided on a pitbull. I saw the info on them and I liked it. They said they were loving dogs who would do anything to please their owner,however I discovered that owning a dog especially a bully breed like the pitbull was hard work! My dad got me Angel for my birthday. And soon after my mom brought home a shihtzu puppy that my brother named Ninja. They have never hurt eachother and love to play with eachother.

Getting back to the fact that these dogs will do anything for their owners. When the dogs are trained to fight they will risk their poor lives to win. When they don't win they are kicked, hit, yelled at drowned, burned and their owners may even pour acid on them to make them suffer. Take note that if you see any type of this activity towards any pet you should call the ASPCA or at least the authorities. Please watch this video.
