Why Does The Goldeneagle Need Saving?
What has to happen to save the Goldeneagle? The town says he must be rebuilt into running order so that he can be registered, because the town's goal is to remove ALL UNREGISTERED VEHICLES from the ENTIRE town! They have already taken my dad's three cars. They took 4 more cars from a man on the Ross Rd. The took 2 other cars from each of at least 4 differant families on Portland Ave. They are in attempt at taking my mom's car, and now they are trying to take my beloved Goldeneagle!
Why is the town doing this? I have no idea. Ken Shupe, the man behind the order, said quote: "Because this is Old Orchard." unquote. So what? What does this being Old Orchard have to do with it? He isn't even from Old Orchard! In fact none of the town officials are from Old Orchard! Me? My family has been living on this land since 1657, when my family SETTLED and FOUNDED this town. We have lived here peacefully for over 300 years, not once have we ever bothered them. NOT ONCE! What right have they to come in here and steal our private property?
What can you do to help? Well, as I said, the town says that the way to save the Goldeneagle is to get it registered.
To get the Goldeneagle registered, will mean getting it inspected for road use.
hhhhmmmm. No transmission. No axels. No wheels. No front seat. 90% of the parts were already canniblaized for use on other cars. Basicly all the Goldeneagle is is a body and an engine.
I need parts, lots of them, and I need them fast.
There in lays the other problem. This is a 1964 Dodge 330 4 door edition made for police production; less than 15,000 of these were built; fewer than 5,000 are believed to exist today, though some experts put that figure at fewer than 2,000. Parts I need to repair the Goldeneagle well cost in excess of $20,000 and I do not have that kind of money. I need your help in either donation of money to buy parts or donations of the parts themselves for this car.
The town also says that if I can get is registered, that The Goldeneagle will have to still be removed from my garden and put into an " approved" structure. This means I also need some kind of a portible garage of something to keep him in. Has anyone got one they can donate???
Another thing that would help: It'd be nice if there was an attorney or some such person who could help me fight these evil bullies from the Old Orchard Beach town hall. We have suffered on going harasment from Will Watson & Ken Shupe for over three years now. Last year their harasment reached it's most extreeme when they put my dad in a coma for 2 months, the same day they stormed into our home, threw us out, and condemed our house, forcing us to live in a tent-shanty built out of tarp and cinder-block. My dad is now permantly disabled and our family of 7 now lives off of food from the Salvation Army and my dad's $739 a month disability check. Last may the town took our house, leaving us with just our garden plot, where my Goldeneagle now sits.
(note that the garden itself can't even be seen from the road, and the Goldeneagle can't even be seen from outside the garden... so what their complaint is I don't know!!!!)
They also threaten to take my beloved cats and dogs away. My babies! My beautiful beloved babies! One cat is 18 years old! That's how long I've had my babies! How can they do this? What right have they got? None! None at all! Why are these men so evil? Who do they think they are? Hitler? Napoleon? How can they be so hateful and still have the gaul to call themselves men?!? They aren't men... they are bullies! Why do they hate us so much? Why are they doing this to us? Why are these men so mean? Why will no one stop them? Why does no one help us?
Someone told us that what the town officials is doing to us is illeagl, but I don't know the laws, so I'm not sure if they can take our belongs off our land like this or not. To me, it feels like they are just coniving thieves who are nothing but vile evil thieving minions. I don't care if they are government officials, what they are doing is just plain wrong. WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! They have no right to do this to us! No right at all! They are nothing but low-life bullies, no better than gutter-scum thugs.
Please if you who are reading this, have any once of human decency in you at all, please help us! If you live in or near Old Orchard Beach, Maine, please write letters of complaint to the town manager:
Petition him to put his foot down and put an end to this tyranical madness that has been reaped on my family via Will Watson and Ken Shupe.
On second thought... write to him anyways, no matter where you live. Why? Because if you are an American citizen it is your duty to stand up for your rights to freedom, and the rights of the freedom of your fellow man. No one who steals the freedom of others deserve to be free, and no man, woman, or child who doesn't stand up for freedom of the people deserves to call themselves an American.
