THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ASSISTED US IN OUR CAMPAIGN FROM VILLAGERS, LOCAL AND NATIONAL PRESS, THE BBC, THE POLICE, LOCAL BUSINESSES, ALL THE COUNCILLORS WHO GAVE US THEIR TIME, ESPECIALLY JOAN STURGEON, RUBY KIRKWOOD AND JOHN MOFFAT.

As you can see the "altered" banners were quickly put back up to tell the village the good news.


The Save Springside Primary School Action Group put up a very

strong campaign & presented a very strong case as to why the

school should not be facing closure.
