My spider room

This is my spider room.  I have breeding containers of crickets and mealworms, a home-made incubator, assorted sizes of containers for different sized spiders and of course- all my tarantulas, all on an ant proof bench!

In this room, I can tend to all my tarantulas needs - heating, food, cleanliness and a dark, quiet environment.  This room holds over 100 tarantulas most of the time and it gives me a good, safe space to do the daily care of the spiders.

This is what I do with my spider bench over winter.  I turn it into one giant incubator, and use rubber-backed material to seal in the heat.  I have to do this because of the amount of spiders I have, and this system utilizes the heat lamps that I use, and therefore I don't need as many as I would if the bench was left all open.  It's a little crowded in there and doesn't leave me much room to work with, but at least they are all kept warm and dark.
