The great Leaders of early America (Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, James
Madison, etc) were home schooled or attended a Christian School.
Most of the schools and colleges in early America were church
sponsored.
Most of the signers of the Declaration of Independence
and the Constitution, were home schooled or attended a Church sponsored
Christian School.
State sponsored, tax supported, Public Education first began in
Massachusetts in the 1840s. Tax supported Public Education was imposed upon
the Southern states by the radical reconstructionist after the Civil War.
Even then Prayer and Bible reading were included until 1963.
Since Prayer and Bible reading were removed from Public Schools in
1963we have seen
a major
declines in the quality of education and
moral values
70% of the children from Christian homes, after 12 years
of Public Schools, are atheist, agnostics, or no longer care about Christianity
as reflected in the decline in their church attendance.
The average child in a Christian School scores in the top 30 percent
in achievement tests, and is 2 years ahead in reading and in math than his
public school peer.
