We will carpool down to Portland (We have perfected the
art of driving by consensus and don't forget the seedballs!)
and sleep over to take in several days of the workshops and 
activities on building a sustainable community in every sense 
of the word.  This is a must see, feel and experience it to 
believe the numerous inventive ways to make your city a 
livable environment for young and old!

We are a group of people from the Tacoma area who want to do something about global warming at the grassroots level. This is a networking organization as much as an activist one; we want to provide info for people who are busy and don't want to come to meetings, which is the function of the Yahoo listserve as well as the function of this website.
