Maternity Homes for Unwed Mothers
Young, pregnant, feeling rejected, desperate and alone?
At Save the Babies House of Refuge, Inc., we understand and we can help.
We have loving homes where young pregnant woman and teens in crisis find hope, refuge, counseling and education.
We offer two homes with a capacity to house a total of ten woman and teens. It is a safe haven and much more.
Our House Parents provide emotional support and a family environment. Our professional Director and Social Worker are trained to counsel the residents and assist them in making positive life decisions for themselves and their babies. We also minister to the spiritual needs of the expectant mother.
Our residents can continue their education through various community partnerships and public schools, to include vocational and GED classes and college.
Local doctors provide prenatal care and a nurse is available at all times for emergencies. Babies are delivered at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Recreational events, outings, classes and other activities are planned on a weekly basis.
Each resident's privacy and confidentiality is strictly maintained.
