| The Story of "Seasons of Sorrow" Pre-Story Eva: "No, it must be beautiful...tell me about the past." The once peaceful world is overrun by monsters that were only thought to exist in fairy tales. People have given up hope and accept the new rulers as overlords to stay. The year is 2506 BR (Before Redemption) 1000 yrs after the monsters had first surfaced. Out of the darkness, a group of six girls calling themselves the Eclipse attempt to fight off this evil. Seven yrs pass of a constant battle between the Eclipse and the evil; out of desperation, the girls use an ultimate magic that transforms the entire world. The people offer the Eclipse power over them but the girls refuse and reveal that they wish to set up an Evil Fighting Organization. The girls hide themselves in the organization and gradually people forget their appearance. Slowly, the Eclipse is gaining control of the world... Introduction Years pass under the Ecliptic rule but as the days go on more people grow weary of the dictatorship. Rebel groups rise one by one but cause no threat to the ruling force, soon an organization calling themselves the X-Raiders of Bliss rise and their activities begin affecting Eclipse control in certain areas. Years go on like this until the Eclipse recognizes that their power is slipping as the Raiders become more pro-active. Deciding that it is safer to destroy the Infidels completely, the Eclipse set fire raining upon the earth but not all infidels are dead. Some manage to pass off as followers but no remnant remains of the X-Raiders of Bliss. No one knows what happened to them or where they went but most believe they escaped the fire. The Story A young man called Seth Locksley finds himself trapped in between the X-Raiders of Bliss and Eclipse war while searching for his past and forgotten memories. He joins the Raiders in hope of finding an answer to his memory lapses; and to repay an old favour to the leader of the X-Raiders of Bliss. While he searches for answers, his girlfriend’s ghost comes to help him along the road. Another girl who looks exactly like his girlfriend lives in the future but no one can explain to him why that is so; to make matters worse, another girl appears who also looks like his girlfriend but they each have something which sets them all apart. The only resemblance they share is the deep look on their faces, in their eyes and their past. You control Seth as he travels to find the truth and avoid some mysterious stalker. Seth's Memories Nikita: "...then your memories should still be present...if you look deep enough and you are willing to unlock those memories you will regain your past..." For some unknown reason Seth can't tap into his memories. Everytime he tries to remember something he receives a shock from the Dark Aura that flows through his swords. Dark Aura is the energy that also flows around the world of Naissance and powers everything. Normally, Seth wouldn't care much about his past but all his skills he had as the Renegade Assassin and from before went with his memories. Seth's Memories come back as you progress through the story, and meet people from his past or experience an event similar to ones he's been through before. What one must remmember when progressing through this confusing story is that Seth's memories are the key to most character's involvements. Present Ciara: "There's no time to learn like the present...don't dwell in the past, okay?" Seth escapes to the future with the X-Raiders of Bliss but for some reason he meets up with people he knows. According to all of them someone is searching for him. Seth sets off to discover his past but the more people he comes into contact with, the more important that goal becomes. You take control of Seth as he travels through the world of Naissance, chased by someone and often chasing someone himself. As more of his past comes to light, the whole matter soon becomes a race for Sanctuaries that hold colossal creatures (Amoks) that may cause the end of the world. May cause it... |
