Welcome to Saugeen River Run Canoe Adventures!
The River Run is an annual event that was started by Mike Bowers in 1997.
Drop in at Paisley and end our trip in Southampton (Denny's Dam). 43 kilometres of Saucy Saugeen!
Several gentle rapids occur between Paisley and Southampton. In the vicinity of Saugeen Bluffs Conservation Area, the river is bordered by clay bluffs, forming the edge of a well-defined floodplain. Further downstream, the river is braided by sandy, treed islands which are the remnants of a former delta.

River Run Canoe Adventures is an enthusiast site only. It's purpose is
to share information with participants for the private canoe trip
organized yearly by the Bowers family. The organizers of this event and
administrator of this site are in no way affiliated with any of the
sites linked to, nor are they responsible for the well being of the
participants of the River Run. Participating canoers do so at their own
risk. Organizers of the trip will not be held responsible for items lost, damaged or stolen during the trip, nor will they be held liable for personal injury or death occurring during the event.
