Saucy Tales of the Supernatural is a small press web-zine dedicated to bringing you spooky tales of weird menace and dangerous adventure. Unlike most magazines, Saucy Tales prefers to read unsolicited manuscripts from new and previously unpublished authors. However, stories from writers of all experience levels will be considered. What We Want

Saucy Tales is a throw-back to the days of old. We love ghost stories, vampires, zombies, witches, werewolves, mad scientists, weird menace, detective stories with a supernatural twist, weird westerns, and spooky space opera. If your story contains an evil mastermind, a haunted house, creaking doors, mad scientists, or the loch ness monster ... you should submit it to Saucy Tales.

What We Don't Want

• Splatter Punk
• Serial killers
• Gratuitous sex
• Gratuitous gore
• Fan fiction

Note: Fan fiction includes any stories based on characters or situations created by other authors. Stories which build upon Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos, for example, fall into this category.

Legalities

Saucy Tales of the Supernatural publishes short fiction on this web site only. Authors retain all rights to their stories. We will not accept reprints of ANY KIND. Please submit your own writing. Plagiarism is a crime.

Payment

Saucy Tales pays its contributors by offering feedback and exposure.

Format

We accept emailed submissions only. Please attach your story in MS Word format. You should get a response from the editor within one month. If you have received no response after a month, you may send us a query.
