Rest in peace Ninja Viking!
God fucking dammit this really brings my piss to a boil. As you might have guessed from the title, the unbelievably awesome blog "Rants of a Ninja Viking" has been deleted. Fucking Blogspot. From this day on, Blogspot will be counted into the ranks of the likes of Hitler, Stalin, Hip-hop stars and George Bush. Goddammit.
This just goes to show that people are censoring the internet more and more and more. Heck, this site might be goneanytime due to me "violating" Freewebs' terms of service. Just beause I state my opinions! How's that!? I could even be fucking sued because of it! How's that!? I thought I was living in thefree fucking democratic west! Not in some Communist China or something! Goddammit I fucking hate stupid internet policies. Rantlister posted a brilliant little piece about this matter. From which I will use some parts. So credit where credit's due.
AJ wrote in the piece that if corporate fucktards like Google or shitfaces like the Co$ gain big huge major control on the internts, it would look really grim for us ranters and other satirists. And it will if that's what'll happen. Because we won't be able t you so write any offensive comment anymore. Well guess what you dumb fucking cunts. Anything we write will be inevetably be offensive to someone on the planet. If I say George Bush is an asshole, I can think of millions of people who'd agree with me. But also at least one manwho would disagree, namely the fucktard himself. I hope you, the reader, get the point after this one example but the big shitty assholes like the Co$ or other orginasations that would like the internet censored would need billions before it would get through their thick little skulls.
I find it fucking ridiculous that someone's blog(and a great one at that) gets deleted, just because someone states their opinions. Would his blog still be up if he hadn't used all the swearing? Would it still be up if he didn't stated he hated some kind of group (for example childeren, hippies or god knows what). Would this blog still be up if Blogspot pulled his head out of it's arse and started thinking for itself? The first two are doubtful, but I'm sure the third answer would be yes. By trying to conform to the big publics standards great writing and someone's opinion had to suffer.
Really, if we live in a world where even the biggest, best, and most global form of communication is starting to get censored, what can we expect in the future? A permit for having a site(that will of course cost you a hell of a lot money)? Get thrown in jail if you break certain terms of service? Or even worse? This is just plain bullshit. Stupid fucking assholes. When do they get the fucking point that you cannot, in any fucking way possible, conform to everyone's standards. It's called a difference of opinions and those will always stay, no matter what. Will the internet really be censored and turned into a orwellian nightmare for us satirists? I doubt it. Will stupid corporations keep deleting personal sites just because someone might find them offensive? Undoubtely. My site may be next. Or maybe Chris' site. Heck maybe even Rantlister will get deleted because of "provoking hatred to others" by linking to my site, and other great sites like mine.
But what can you o about it? Like AJ said: "Educate yourself and others!" Do not let it come to the nightmare I describe above. Heck, don't let anything ever get changed about the internet. Satire is a powerful form of writing. And they all fucking know it. We can not be stopped, just because some stupid fucking cranky bitch with sand in her vagina might find one of our sites "offending". WELL HOW ABOUT THIS YOU LAZY FUCKING WHORE! MAYBE I FIND YOUR FUCKING OPINION INSULTING TO FREE SPEECH! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT!? WELL!? HOW DO YOU LIKE IT YOU FUCKING BITCH!? GET A FUCKING JOB AND A DECENT FUCKING LIFE BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN AT BULLSHIT SITES LIKE MINE! Jezus fucking Christ. I hate people. Well most people anyway.
UPDATE 16/05/2008 It has come to my attention that Chris, AJ and Maddy all wrote an article about Ninjaviking's delted blog. I say good job al of you! Also great job Maddy, because he now hosts most, if not all of Ninjaviking's content. Again, great job!
