asked ‘What stays up best?, it used to be easy - the one with

area, until we introduced the VENOM-LITE. I have always liked the
staying up when others cannot, but there are times when a
‘normal’ epp model
cannot compete with the lightweight floaters. I do not just like to
stay up, I
like to be able to do something with the model. So I made a lightweight
of the VENOM.
We achieved an eight ounce weight reduction by :-
carbon fibre spar instead of three..
the fuselage (but takes away the protection for
arms, push rods and control horns).
the use of crossweave tape to 1” and only in essential places.
As a result of the above savings behind the centre of gravity, only a 4 AAA
cell square pack is necessary
