Writing is a wonderful thing that I have been interested in just about all of my life. I have always been making up stories. Some I wrote down, some I told aloud, and others only existed within me. In the past, most everything I did was just for fun, but recently I have become interested in sharing my works with everyone- at least anyone that might possibly care. The best way to do that in my opinion is to get published. It is going to be a tough task, but if I try hard enough I believe I can accomplish it.

At the moment I have a few stories in progress and ideas for even more that I have yet to start. Sometimes I doubt whether or not I am good enough of a writer to be taken seriously or if anyone else besides me will find interest in the plots that I choose to explain. But then again, I always underestimate myself; I guess you could say I am my worst critic. I do have my wonderful friends to support me though which helps out a great deal. And usually when I go back and read stories over, I find them much better than I did at the time of their creation. I'll just have to keep going and see what happens.

Even though I must put a lot of time and effort (essentially work) into each and every one of my stories, I still have loads of fun with them. Writing stories makes me feel as if am in complete control. It is a way to express feelings, ideas, and relieve stress all at once. When I'm writing, I can shut out the world around me if I so choose and make up one of my own. In the story world anything is possible.
