Laurel Lisa Holloman, born 23rd may 1971 to Laurel and Wayne in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

She worked with the Piven Theatre Workshop in Chicago after her first year in college, and also studied at the British American Dramatic Academy in London.

Laurel began working off-broadway in THE HEART IS A LONELY HUNTER after a move to New York in 1994.

Her big break came when she stared in Maria Maggenti's 1995 movie THE INCREDIBLY TRUE ADVENTURE OF 2 GIRLS IN LOVE where she played baby butch Randy Dean along side Nicole Ari Parker

Since then she has been in many other movies such as The rising Place (2001), Tumbleweeds (1999), The Myth of Fingerprints (1997)

Laurel has also had 2 major parts in television too, 9 episodes of Angel playing the part of Justine Cooper, out to get revenge on Angel for the death of her twin sister, And her well known part as Tina Kennard, half of, one of the favorite couples on TV in The L Word along side Jennifer Beals

Laurel is married to Paul Macherey, they have a daughter called Lola and have recently adopted a little girl.
