Graphic Design is Sarah Miller's way to inform the world about important social justice issues that people commonly neglect. Sarah is a bold, experimental artist who keeps the edges clean but the issues dirty, and addresses what may be uncomfortable for some. Design is a way for her to get all the issues that bother her down on paper to be able to communicate them with everyone.
Design helps her deal with issues regarding equal rights, which it is a very dominant area in her life, and she believes that sometimes people can be blind to things such as racism, interracial relationships, and segregation. If something does not directly affect you, you tend to leave it out of your life. She wants to communicate to the world through her art. If you blow these issues off, you're not helping in any way, but are adding to the problems at hand.
