Also, we have a wonderful surprise for you! Stephen Jacobson, the director of Center Stage: Turn It Up, contacted us with some wonderful information on Sarah Jayne's character, Suzanne!

"I don’t see Suzanne Von Stroh as a simplistic villain, and the complexities of her character are enhanced by Sarah Jayne’s nuanced performance. Suzanne is talented and privileged and a very hard worker. She thinks she deserves success, and while that’s true, she has never learned to be aware that there are other dancers who may also deserve some time in the limelight. She is selfish, but she’s not really an evil person deep down—just a little misguided sometimes. When Sarah Jayne auditioned, she said she was fond of Suzanne and understood her, and that really impressed me, because everybody else auditioning was saying how much they hated Suzanne."

Added just two pictures today; in Miscellaneous and Hairspray Promo.

Though there isn't any actual news to report, there are just a few things worth saying!

Sarah Jayne's new movie Magic Man seems to be getting a lot of publicity on some horror movie websites, and there are several stills of the movie posted online. Sarah Jayne hasn't been featured in any of the pictures yet, but we're sure some will surface, and we'll get them on the site ASAP.

Center Stage: Turn It Up is only a few short months away, and we are extremely excited! As soon as a longer trailer appears, we'll screencap it and post it on the site for you to see.

If you've heard the rumors for the Hairspray sequel, you may have mixed emotions, but if the movie ends up happening, we are definitely keeping our fingers crossed that Sarah Jayne will decide to return as Shelley!

Sarah Jayne Jensen Central is getting a revamp, folks! Yes, that's right; we are in the process of designing and coding the new layout (also known as version 2.0). It will be significantly cleaner and easier to navigate, with much more features and a generally simplified appearance. :) It should not be too long before it's introduced, so just keep checking back. By the way, we are working on those screencaps, as well! We just need to rip them first. Also, we've heard through the grapevine that the "trailer" we saw, was perhaps a "teaser trailer," and that another one would be released soon. Exciting, yes? We think so! Anyway, keep checking back, and feel free to e-mail us with questions, comments, or concerns. We would love to hear from you about what you would possibly want to see on the new layout or just what you're thinking, in general!

We've just found out yesterday that there will be a preview of Center Stage: Turn It Up (formerly Center Stage 2) on the Made of Honor DVD! This is wonderful news! You can expect plenty of screencaps, as well as the trailer itself, perhaps once it is released. We'll find a way. :) We are both extremely excited for this. We cannot wait for the November premiere. Finally some Center Stage 2 news!


The movie will premiere on Oxygen this November and hit DVD shelves in January!

"As Pop Wrap has learned, "CS: Turn It Up" gets a little urban on us this time as Kate Parker, a self-taught prodigy catches Jonathan's eye and makes it into the American Ballet Academy. Sadly things don't go as planned and she's booted from the school - only to meet Tommy, an ex-hockey player and unlikely new ABA student (obviously) who crushes on Kate and gets her a job at a hot NYC nightclub, The Foundry. Well, needless to say, sparks fly and I am sure there is an amazing dance-off to end all cinematic dance-offs."

So exciting! We've also added pictures to Miscellaneous, Center Stage 2, and Hairspray Performances! Also, we went ahead and added an Across The Universe gallery, since we're working on getting more screencaps from the movie!

According to IMDb, Magic Man has finished filming in Las Vegas, and should be opening in the US mid-2009. There was also an interview with one of the male leads in Magic Man, and he said a little about the fate of some of the girls in the movie:

"Three girls head to Vegas. One of them is an amateur magician and has a dark past herself. They go to the show of the Great Darius (Billy Zane) and after that start to die (one of the poor girls will be cut in half). Local police can't do much and only detective Orloff knows how to save at least one of the girls..."

We've also added the possible synopsis for Magic Man:

In order to see magic idol Krell Darius perform his world-famous magic act, a beautiful aspiring young-magician, Tatiana, travels from New York to Las Vegas with her closest friends, best friends Elena and Vera. As the layers of illusion unfold, so too do the dark windows into Tatiana's past. The mystery finally leads to the decisive question: is the ultimate illusion magic, or murder?

Sarah Jayne's newest movie, Magic Man (set in Las Vegas), has begun filming and will most likely wrap-up soon. We're still keeping our eyes open for any updates on Center Stage 2. We have a few dates in mind that it may come out on DVD, but we do know that it will be early on in the fall of this year, for those who did not already know.

Also, we've heard that a (supposed) TV spot trailer has just been sent to color. You can best believe that as soon as the trailer hits the internet we'll give you guys a link to it! (Or even as soon as it hits TV! Which ever's quickest.)

Anyway, we hope for updates soon! We'll keep you guys tuned in as we learn more.

P.S. Below we've got something special for you guys: a possible (though, we're not sure of how much of it is factual; keep that in mind) plot summary for the upcoming Center Stage 2 that someone posted! Enjoy!

"Kate Parker's (Rachele Smith) dream is to dance at renowned ABA and become a professional ballerina. However, hip-hop is her passion. She must cope with quite a bit of scorn coming from ABA students, because they look down upon hip-hop. She practically begs to be admitted into ABA, but she does not seem to be having much luck. Although, also a major obstacle in Kate's way is a wealthy, snobby girl named Suzanne Von Stroh (Sarah Jayne Jensen). Tommy (Kenny Wormald) is Suzanne's Pas de Deux partner in ABA classes. He is afraid to let his friends know that he does ballet. Tommy also helps Kate in his spare time, so that she may become a much more refined ballerina. Naturally, the selfish Suzanne is not happy with the events that follow."

Grand Opening by Tracy & Kelsey

Welcome to the official opening of the first version of Sarah Jayne Jensen Central! We are both very excited to finally open this, as it has been a longtime project of ours. We've always wanted to own a website of our own, and this is a fabulous first start, if we do say so ourselves. :) Eventually, however, we will be purchasing our own domain name; although, for the time being, we'll happily allow Freewebs to host it for us. So, enjoy yourselves, check out all the goodies inside, and perhaps post on the forums! E-mail us if you have any comments, questions, or concerns! We would love to hear from you.
