My Blog :]

A Little About Me...

Of course, there are many other things I would like to tell you, but I simply cannot remember all of them right now. Ask me any questions you have, and I'll try my absolute best to answer them with accuracy.

My name is Sarah Estrela, and I am a returning student for the Artemis Project 2007. You should all know that you can come to me whenever something's bothering you, but just in case, I have created a little blog to accomplish that same goal. Here is just another little opportunity to ask me any questions you may have about this program, or about your freshman year of high school.

Here is a list of websites that I find quite interesting...

My old school, Shea High School
My new school, Saint Raphael Academy
 High School Survival Guide!
 The Artemis Project Website!

High School...or Freshman Year at Least =]

When you get to High School, there are two main things to always remember:

Relax and Take it Easy.

  • If you rush everything, nothing will come out your best.
  • Relax, but don't procrastinate. Separate large amounts of insurmountable work into smaller, more manageable ones.
  • When life comes at you fast, All State Life Insurances works wonders.
  • No seriously, when life becomes too much to handle, find something that will never fail to calm you down.
  • Get involved in as many things as you can without losing focus on school.
  • Get as much sleep as you can. You'll start to miss it.
  • Stay Who You Are

  • It is inevitable that other people will influence you in many different ways. Just
  • be sure that they don't persuade you to lose yourself. I know it's a cliche thing to say, but please stay away from people that practice risky behavior. Trust me, having fun for like, fifteen minutes isn't worth all the dangerous things you could ruin your life with.
  • Always remember that you are amazing.
  • When life gives you lemons, you obviously make lemonade. :)
  • Figure out what's most important to you, and create goals to achieve those things.
  • Make sure you have someone to talk to when you're feeling down. You never know,
they may know exactly how you feel and give you the best advice you can get.
  • People are always changing, it's a fact of life. Just be sure that you mature into
the person that you want to be.
  • Smile as much as you can : D
