The Angel with Blueberry Eyes

I look into your beautiful eyes
Sparkling like diamonds
Filled with so much hope and promise.

And I wonder....

If only you could have waited
Just long enough to mature and realize
This was not your fault.

And I know....

Yes, life does go on
But there is this emptiness
The world without you has lost so much innocence.

And without a doubt....

Time will ease the pain
We will always love you
Dear Sarah, we will never forget, the angel with the blueberry eyes.

This is a special day
I hold dear to my heart.
Your memories I have inside,
for now we are apart.

You were always full of hope
and gave all your love.
I know your in God's hands,
the father up above.

Inside me is where you live,
in a special place.
When I need some cheering up,
I see your smiling face.

Though I may not hear you laugh
or hold your hand today.
I cherish every moment that
you gave me everyday.

When times get tough
and I feel I can't go on.
I know that you would tell
me just be strong.

Your life may have ended
before your time.
But I know God has helped me
by letting your memory shine.

The comfort I have today is
knowing that you are free.
It's just really hard to let go of
what use to be.

You enriched my life
more than I can ever say.
That is why I remember it's
your birthday today.

As I smile and sing
Happy Birthday to you!
In my heart I remember
all the memories too.

And when the time comes for
us to see each other again.
I know you'll be there waiting
to show me the way in.

I see the countless Christmas Trees
Around the world below,
With tiny lights
Like heaven’s stars
Reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular,
Please wipe away that tear,
For I am spending Christmas
With Jesus Christ this year.

I hear many Christmas songs
That people hold so dear,
But the sounds of the music can’t compare
With the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you
The joy the voices bring,
For it is beyond description
To hear the angles sing.
I know how much you miss me,
I see the pain inside your heart,
But I am not so far away
We really aren’t apart.
So be happy for me dear one,
You know I hold you dear,
And be glad I’m spending Christmas
With Jesus Christ this year.

I send you a special gift
From my heavenly home above,
I send you a dear memory
Of my truly undying love.
After all “love” is the gift
More precious than pure gold
It was always the most important
In the stories Jesus told.
Please love and keep each other
As my father said to do,
For I can’t count the blessings
Or the love he has for you.
So have a Merry Christmas
And wipe away that tear
Remember I am spending Christmas
With Jesus Christ this year.

If I could take all the pain you had and throw it all away
I would do it in a second just so you could stay.
I never thought I would see a day without you by my side
You were my sister, my friend, and the one I could confide.
Now memories are all I have to cherish for all time
I wish I had the biggest ladder to heaven I would climb
Just to see your smiling face and take you back with me,
Then once again we would be a complete family
They say time heals every wound but I don’t believe that’s true
Nothing can heal the pain we have since the day we lost you.
If there was one thing I could let you know before you had to go
It would be that I loved you much more than I let show.
So Sarah, if you are looking down please remember this,
You will always be in my heart, I love you, lil’ sis
