Directions for Making Star CD Ornament

    1. On a piece of blue construction paper trace around a CD with a pencil.

    2. Trace the smaller inside circle of the CD.

    3. Cut out the circle with scissors.

    4. Use the exacto knife to cut out the inside circle.

    5. Glue the paper onto the side of the CD that has a label.

    6. Turn over the silver corrugated paper.

    7. Draw or use a stencil to make a star that is about three inches tall and wide.

    8. Cut out the star with scissors.

    9. Glue the star onto the right hand side of the CD. It is okay if the stars points go off the side a little.

    10. Put glue along the edge of the CD and around the outside of the star.

    11. Sprinkle gold glitter onto the glue.

    12. Shake off the excess glitter.

    13. Using sticker letters or letter stamps in black write “For we have seen His star in the East”

    14. Put fishing line through the hole of the CD.

    15. Tie a knot at the very top of the CD with the fishing line. Move up the fishing line about 3 inches and tie another knot. This will be the loop to hang the ornament with.

    16. Now you have completed your second ornament.
