Sango Fleet is based in Delta Quadrant. Two years after the Nemesis events a wormhole leading near the border of the Delta and Gamma Quadrant was discovered on the far edge federation space. Soon after the discovery of the wormhole Starfleet began to secure the other side. A small instillation was built and Named Delta 72. After further research Starfleet decided that they needed to make foot hold in the quadrant. Delta 72 was decommissioned and the conduction Starbase 72 was started.
The Current year is 2390 and Starbase 72 has been completed. With the resupply/repair/command base complete and Starfleet is starting send more ships into the Delta Quadrant to help secure the wormhole and continue the exploration of the galaxy.
