San Diego Carnivores, Part 2

This website is divided into 2 portions at present.  This section contains information on Nepenthes species, and the second contains further more information on Nepenthes and other carnivorous plants.  Most Nepenthes hybrids and pictures are located in part 2.

07-01-08 Updates for 2008!

I will be updating the site quite a bit this month to bring everything up to speed.  All updates to the site from this point will be mentioned below.  I apologize for the lack of updates and essentially abandoning the site.  I will be making some upgrades and positive changes, as I switch this to a larger platform for information about carnivorous plants (with a focus on Nepenthes), as well the beginnings of a potential business.  I am currently undergoing several projects, mainly involved with the tissue culture propagation of Nepenthes both from seed and meristem culture.   You may also catch a brief mention of this  website on page 8 of the San Diego Horticultural Society newsletter, July 2008 edition.

*If anyone has information on how to go about meristem tissue culture with Nepenthes, please feel free to email me (standforme2002@yahoo.com).*
