FOUNDER - BARRY WINTER
Barry Winter has been practising Martial arts for over 13years now and have been competiting at National Championships at the early ages of 9 , his first karate club was called Black Tiger Dojo which was in his home Town of Sangre Grande ,where he learnt Shotokan karate under Sensie Ricky Ramdani , he trained with Black Tiger for 6years , before moving on to High school where he was discovered by Professor Fancis the Cheif Instuctor for Black Hawks Martial Club. He practise kana-ju-jitsu under Sensei Dave , Sensei Martain and Sensei Desmond for 6 years winning in both National and International Championships, he was awarded for his contribution to Martial Arts by the MINISTRY OF EDUCATION highlighting him as one of the nations top karatekas. After college he joined the Peaceful Warriors Martial Internation where he continue his winning ways under the leadership of Shihan Micheal Cromwel where he was introduce to the Marki -ryu stem. Wanting more after college he migrated to the United Kingdom , where he joined (WUMA ) WORLD UNITED MARTIAL ARTS which was the biggest Martial Organisation in Europe. Barry had a hard time settling in his new home, with the weather being a big obstacle for him ,not placing in any of the National championship made Barry question his decesion about comming to England . 6 months after comming to england his baby girl was born which inspired him to work harder , since then Barry has been winning and placing at every Championship events making him one of the supporters favorites. After years of exprience he combined all his martial arts knownledge and Tecnique he deveopled the samo kata system , quwan -jitsu after the name of his duaghter li quwan. Today he still competes in the 18-34 division.

What is the Samo Kata Sytem ?
The Samo Kata Sytem was develop to help individual martial artist to become better competitors in the field of Sports Martial Arts , this stlye allows you to demonstrate both form and flair , giving the system its unique balance. The Samo Kata Sytem is combined with the following styles , SHOTOKAN KARATE , TAEKWONDO, KICKBOXING , KANA-JU-JITSU , MARKI-RUYU , WEAPONARY AND GYMNASTIC . The Samo Kata Styem helps the karateka to acknowlege the technique's bom-kia , which allows you to perform the technique with speed , power and accuracy ,giving you the fighting edge.
