Weekly letter

April 20th, 2009   Dear Parents,      I would like to say thank you to those who continue to contribute to our snack stash.  We would like to send out a great big Thank you to Alyssa Steude and her parents for sending us in a bag of pretzels.      Our kindergarten year is quickly coming to a close.  It is time to start preparing for graduation.  On Friday I sent home an order slip for the Memory DVD that will be put together for our graduation ceremony.  If you would like one, they need to be purchased ahead of time.  The money helps us to pay for expenses of the DVD, graduation tassels which the students get to keep, and items for the reception following graduation.  We are anticipating also having a kindergarten hot-dog barbeque on Wednesday, May 27th following our rainforest play presentation.  We may ask for donation items from parents, and some of the items will be purchased with the DVD money, if we have enough orders.  I will not be selling DVD’s on the day of graduation, but those purchased ahead of time will be handed out following the graduation.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 378-2211 between 2:00 – 2:45 Monday –Homework packets come home.  We will be finishing our garden this week as long as the wind doesn’t blow.
