The NBC Heroes star Kristen Bell may have to take a break from exercising her superpowers so she can go back to mars – Veronica Mars, that is.
Yes, you guessed it right.
The television-to-movie trend is spreading like the plague – and this week, it has infected Veronica Mars series creator Rob Thomas.
The creator and the star had a business rendezvous in his office last week to discuss bringing the cult hit to theatres, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Thomas also mentioned having had “a few conversations” with Veronica Mars executive producer Joel Silver.
Despite having two ABC projects currently on the go, Thomas wants to make the Mars movie a priority when he can muster up some time.
While Thomas is in the works of getting the project together, Bell is flattered that people are still interested in her show.
"[Fans] still ask me all the time if the show's coming back. Emotionally, I don't want to think about Veronica Mars every day because it really does make me sad,” says Bell.
It looks like a movie could be in the stars for little miss Veronica Mars!
