Full Bio:

"Same Same"

Clint and Bob Moffatt (22 yrs) were members of one of the world's most successful pop/rock bands in the 90's, The Moffatts. Clint and Bob are the identical twins of the band. Bob, Clint and their two siblings started as a professional country music act in 1994 after a move with their father to Nashville. In 1995 they became the youngest band to ever be signed to a major label recording contract.

Over the past 10 years a great deal has changed. As they became teens, the group switched to pop music with a new album, "Chapter One: A New Beginning." The album debuted in 1998 and sold more than two million copies worldwide with Gold or Platinum records in over 30 countries. Their second single, "I Miss You Like Crazy," was No. 1 throughout Asia for 13 consecutive weeks. In Thailand, the guys certainly had a impressive new beginning. Their pop debut still holds sales records for most albums sold by an international act. They have made more than 1000 TV appearances worldwide and have played close to 5000 live performances. Their last album sold close to one million copies.

Upon the closing of their Moffatts chapter in August of 2000, Clint, Bob and two friends chose to explore the sounds of alternative rock and formed the band, Hidell. Their debut album "Up and Coming" while having modest sales success, did secure them a slot on the main stage at the 2002 winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, sharing the stage with acts like The Goo Goo Dolls, Creed, Train and Alanis Morrisate

The guys latest and most exciting chapter is now about to unfold. Bob and Clint moved to Thailand earlier this year and have recently signed with SONY BMG MUSIC, the giant label responsible for many international and regional artists success including Ricky Martin, Britney Spears and the sensational Tata Young. The duo will release their first Asian exclusive album in Thailand under the name 'SAME SAME.' The album was produced by the highly celebrated Thai producer, Warut “Curious George” Rintranukul (Smile Buffalo, Ebola and Tata Young, etc).

In this album the brothers revisit their pop roots similar to the sound that launched The Moffatts to global superstar status. That being said, the duo’s musical maturity commands ones attention when viewing their prolific lyrics and wonderful sense of musical fluidity. They have used their experiences with over a decade working in the music industry and living relatively obscure lives over the past few years to create this album. The result is impressive! SAME SAME is an album that truly reflects their very real and raw musical talents. Not only do they write their own music, they co-produced the album as well.

"Supermodel" is the lead off single. It is an upbeat song with a catchy hook, "I'd like, like to get to know you better." After hearing this track, people will surely want to get to know the guys better… a lot better. The duo also collaborated with Thai artists on this album. In "Without You," featuring Nui of the Peach Band, Clint shows off the voice that made all little and not so little girls' hearts soar 8 years ago. The guys also collaborated with Thailands country music superstar, Arpaporn Nakonsawan, in "Farang Ja," a humorous track that shows another side of the guys not often seen in the past. This album has something for everyone, beautiful ballads like "Love Isn't", "Stay" and "Hearts Collide." Beach Boy fans will be impressed with the remake of “Wouldn't It Be Nice." Rockers will enjoy "The Meaning of Happy" and "Strange Lover" and for classic pop fans there are tracks like "City lights" and "It Can't Get Any Worse." Both Bob and Clint are extremely happy with their completed work. We've listen to the completed project and believe we have successfully represented through this project who we are and what we are all about. This highly anticipated album will be released mid January 2006.
