No More Heros, put it back on your 'to buy' lists!
Posted 01 December 2007

I swear, every time I find myself starting to lose interest in this game, Suda 51 goes and does something such as release these awesomely awesome trailers, and puts his stylised sandbox game right back onto the radar.

The first thing you may noticed is the copious amounts of blood that had returned- previous videos showed enemies bursting into black dust clouds, but I can honestly say that I prefer the blood and gore.

The second thing you might notice is that your eyes are melting from the pure joy that a one simple hardcore bloody game can bring to a Nintendo fan. Odd that...

Check out the videos below, but be warned that they are spoiler laden in some places, especially that last one.

News Roundup, October
Posted 13 October 2007

Jeez, there is so much great gaming news at the moment, how am I supposed to keep up with it all? Maybe if i had a quicker way to update the news page, was faster at typing, had a faster computer, and was a demi-god, it might help. But seeing as none of those things are true, you'll have to deal with these News roundups once in a while instead...

Sonic is in Brawl!

Like you don't already know! But, yes, its true. Our favourite Blue Hedgehog has come to join the fight in Nintendo’s beloved brawler, Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Learn more about it on the Sonic Page of SSBBs website.

Stunning Advance Wars: Days of Ruin screens!

I don't know why, but everyone always wants to make their sequels darker and grittier, and now its happened to Advance Wars, the colourful War simulation that started on the GBA. The story it set in a post-apocalyptic battle ground, after a meteor has hit earth and wiped out 90% of the population of earth. Doesn’t sound like a great time to be waging wars, to be honest, but Advance Wars hasn't disappointed so far, and I wouldn't expect it to do so now.

Day of Crisis ISN'T DEAD!

Bet that title gave you a shock there, eh? Yep, Disaster: Day of Crisis is still alive, and we now have more then one screenshot of it:

WiiWare isn't dead either!

Nintendo’s game download service that is supposed to run like XBLA has finally got some game announced. As well as Nintendo’s announced titles including Dr. Mario (!!!), Pokemon Farm, Puzzloop for Everyone, and Maruboushikaku, and some games from Hudsen aswell, including Bomberman and Star Soldier R, Square Enix has its sights on WiiWare also.

Square Enix's foray into Nintendo’s download service presents several questions, foremost of which is "How the hell is that going to fit on my Wiis memory?!". But, for now, just enjoy the footage of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Young King and the Promised Land, and ask questions later:

Headlining this good old Video Round up, we have...

Droolworthy Final Fantasy IV Trailer: TGS 07

Anyone who doesn’t love Final Fantasy shouldn't be allowed near all other civilized people. For if the world was made of Final Fantasy fans, there would be no war, no starvation, and there would probably be a decent president too.

Fantastic Halo DS Video: With a pinch of salt

Here’s a rumour that has been circulating for awhile- the idea that a Halo game was in production for none other then our glorious little handheld. And now IGN has put together a few videos of what was apparently the game before it got cancelled. Is it real? It certainly looks it. But, in the end, it was cancelled, so don't get too exited.

Super Smash Bros Brawl: Snake has all the funnies

This is just one of several new Snake trailers released for TGS and celebrating Snakes position in everyone’s favourite Brawler (that’s Super Smash Bros, for those slow ones), including one featuring Snake who seems to have his eyes on Samus.

Check them all out here.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: New Trailer
Posted 28 September 2007

Fans of another of the Ivalice based Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy XII, have alot to look forward to in this trailer. We've known that Vaan and Penelo would be playable characters in this game for awhile, but now we get to see some of the summons in the game... and they look to be the same summons from XII! Awesome!

Another thing I noticed (and keep in mind that this is purely speculation on my part), had to do with Vaan. We know that Cloud from VII made an appearance in the original Tactics game, but that was considered a guest cameo appearance, and little else. But seeing as Vaan actually lives in the same world as FF: TA2 takes place... perhaps Vaan appearing in this game will turn out to be a canonical event. That, perhaps, will start to untangle the web of speculation surrounding the Ivalice timeline, a timeline almost as infamous as the Zelda timeline.

Anyhow, enough of my mumbling, go watch the trailer! From www.gametrailers.com

News Roundup
Posted 26 September 2007

Well, first of all, lets start with an apology for the news site being down the last few days. Ironically, it decided to drop dead just after the Tokyo Game Show when all of the after show info was spewing out faster then... well, my metaphor generater seems to have failed me for today, but bear in mind that it would have been good.

Anyway, i've missed quite alot of Nintendo Wii and DS gameing infomation that i'm sure your dying to know... but probally already know because, as a matter of fact, you actually use another News site as wewll! Boo hiss!

So this is the first News Roundup of DSaster, so lets see how it goes.

Oboro Muramasa Trailer: More beautiful then naked ladies:

Yes, its true and you know it. You. Want. This. Game.

Kingdom Hearts Game announced for DS

I very almost forgot to breath when I heard this news. The title is Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. How exactly that is said is up for debate, but the point is that it involves Roxas and other Members of Organizations XIII doing their thing. 'Their thing', in case you didn't know, is generally being awesmome.

Check out the first images over here.

I think that that will do for today. I'll be back tommorow (yeah right!) with more news, pictures, and trailers.
