Hello everybody, my name is Andy Gray and I'd like to welcome you all to todays charity match Senegal XI vs World XI in aid of raising money for the anti racism campaign. Many players on show today have been hassled by racist supporters and are happy to give their services today to support the campaign. 

   The Bernabeu has been kindly donated for tonights game and as the teams leave the tunnel, lets introduce the players.

The Fans are singing the name of World XI manager Rafael Benitez.

   AND THE GAME GETS UNDERWAY!!!

Straight from Kick-Off Senegal play the ball down the Left through Ndiaye who nutmegs Pongolle but is completely taken out by Stelios.

 Stelios doesnt appear to be happy. He thinks Ndiaye dived.

The match has been a very scrappy one so far with no real chances at either........oh but wait Salif Diao takes on Smicer and plays a huge 40 yard pass to Amdy Faye who contols well, and plays a first time cross into the box and DIOUF SCORES from 10 yards out with a great header.  The defence cant believe it.

  A well deserved goal from Senegal XI .

The World XI kick off and can you believe its Riise's first touch. Riise plays it forward to Kewell who plays a great one-two with Pedersen. Kewell takes on Fadiga as the World team try to get back into the game.Kewell plays a low drive in to the box but Malick Diop(brother of Bouba) clears well with a header that reaches the Centre Circle.

 Riise volleys the ball with his left foot as though it belongs to the Swedish and ITS OF THE BAR AND IN!!! What an amazing strike from the Norwegian. That has to be the goal of the year.

 As Riise celebrates we have a streaker on the pitch.......oh wait that is Riise.

 Anders Frisk shows Riise a yellow card for his celebration.

   Henri Camara takes the ball straight from the kick off and runs towards the oppositions goal. Smicer almost just lets him run past.

   But Stelios recovers well and keeps the score at 1-1.

 Djemba Djemba takes the ball and passes short to Pongolle. Who controls well......

   Oh no, Pongolle has tripped over the ball. How embarassing. Bouba Diop yells at his players to get forward as he takes the ball through a huge gap left by Pongolle. Diop passes to Diao on the edge of the box and DIAO SCORES with a toe poke into the bottom left corner. Pongolle drops to the ground. Its all your fault Pongolle HAHA. ...ooops sorry everyone.

  Salifs team mates crowd round to congratulate him.

 Nikopolidis is praying his team mates can get his side back into the game.

World XI kick off once again and Clarence Seedorf receives the ball and passes to Djibril Cisse close to the centre spot. Cisse takes a touch and passes to Peter Crouch who has been fairly quiet so far.

 Crouch runs at the defenders and performs some magic skills to fool his opponents. Crouch passes to Pedersen whos first touch takes it passed the last defender. Pedersen is one on one with Cissokho in the box and pulls back his leg to shoot.........and hes brought down by Aliou Cisse. PENALTY

    Frisk runs over and HES OFF. A red card for Aliou Cisse from Senegal XI.The players crowd round but the decision is final and an early bath for Aliou Cisse.

Peter Crouch steps up to take the penalty.........

 AND ITS A GOAL!!! Low into bottom corner  2-2

  Crouch runs over to celebrate with his manager.

And as Senegal kick off, the referee draws and end to the half.

As the teams come out for the second half, the players urge the crowd to get behind their team.

The World XI kick off as they try to take the lead for the first time in the game.

Pedersen takes the ball and looks for Peter Crouch.....but whats going on? Crouch appears to be posing for the cameras holding his shirt.

   His team mates are telling him to concentrate on the game. Crouch quickly runs back and takes the ball. Crouch passes to Kewell. Riise overlaps down the left and Kewell looks up and sees the run. Riise is having a great game so far. Riise picks out Djibril Cisse who cant keep the header down and it goes over the bar.

 That was a good chance to put the World XI infront and he knows it.

 Cissokho takes the goal kick and hits it very long indeed.

Bouba Diop takes out Djemba Djemba quite blatently but the ref waves play on and Henri Camara gets in behind and drives the ball low but Nikopolidis pulls of a great save.

 That brought a smile back to his face.

Nikopolidis kicks the ball long and this time Pongolle does control it. Pongolle comes up against Daff and tries to fool him with 4 stepovers and it works. That made up for the earlier mistake. Pongolle passes to Cisse and looks for the return but Cisse ignores him to Pongolles discust. Cisse turns and shoots and ITS A GOAL!!!

 A well deserved goal for Djibril Cisse and almost breaks his neck in the celebration.

The game has become scrappy once again.

 Bouba Diop wins the ball in the centre and chips it out to Ndiaye. Ndiaye skips past Stelios Giannakopoulos and crosses with his left foot and it comes of Seedorf for a corner. This is more like it.

Amdy Faye takes the corner and curls it towards the penalty spot. Salif Diao tries the overhead kick but completely misses it and it falls to the feet of Bouba Diop.

 Nikopolidis closes down Diop on the edge of the 6 yarder but Diop slides it through his legs and into the back of the net.

WHAT A GOAL BY PAPA BOUBA DIOP!!!

 The Crowd go wild!

 What a celebration by the Senegal XI. Dancing round Boubas shirt.

The score is back level at 3-3 and theres 10 minutes to go.

World XI appear to be down to 10 men as Peter Crouch has gone missing.

   Whats he doing in the crowd? He seems to be posing once again. He'll never learn.

Down to the last few minutes now and both teams go in search for the winner.

Omar Daff tries a 60 yard pass to Amdy Faye but its intercepted by Pedersen.

Pedersen controls the ball with his head and balances it there while he searches for a team mate.Kewell makes the forward run and Pedersen lofts it over the Senegalise defence. Kewell is one on one at the edge of the box and the shot beats the keeper but comes back of the post AND CISSE SHOOTS BUT IT HITS THE BAR. The ball bounces out to Pedersen who surely must score......

 But Cissokho pulls off an outstanding save to keep the score at 3-3.

 AND THATS IT

ANDERS FRISK ENDS THE GAME AND WHAT A GREAT MATCH WE'VE JUST SEEN.

The Man of The Match Award goes to Salif Diao for his excellent performance.

The players congratulate the fans for turning up to support the campaign.
