Anime is basically Japanese animation. The artwork, animation, plotlines, etc. are far more developed, detailed, and advanced compared to most Western animation. Also anime is for any range of ages from little kids to adults. Anime usually consists of the TV Series, OVAs(Original Video Animations), movies, and sometimes specials. Manga is the Japanese version of comic books. Most, but not all, anime series are based off of their manga counterparts. The anime can differ from the manga, but it is usually very similar to it.
J-pop is just Japanese pop. K-pop is Korean pop. J-rock is Japanese rock. There are various artists in each of these categories that are very popular in the Eastern Asia region of Taiwan, parts of China, Japan, Korea, etc. Although this is all Asian music it has grown quite popular in America and other countries around the world.
