Liturgy

The heart of the life of Saint Alban's House is the regular celebration of the Liturgy of the Hours and the Divine Liturgy.  On most weekdays, only a part of these celebrations are conducted on-site, with the remainder being undertaken at Wishard Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis.  On weekends when Father Lyons is at the house, liturgical celebrations are commonplace.  Thus, in a regular week, a schedule similar to the following may be kept (note, the day begins on the evening of the previous day, thus Sunday begins at sunset on Saturday evening):

09:30 PM - Compline
07:00 AM - Matins and Lauds
09:00 AM - Terce
11:00 AM - Divine Liturgy followed by Sext
03:00 PM - None

MONDAY through FRIDAY
06:00 PM - Lucernarium
07:30 PM - Vespers
09:30 PM - Compline
04:30 AM - Matins
07:00 AM - Lauds (at Wishard)
09:00 AM - Terce (at Wishard)
12:00 PM - Sext (at Wishard)
12:05 PM - Divine Liturgy (at Wishard)
02:00 PM - None (at Wishard)

SATURDAY
06:00 PM - Lucernarium
07:30 PM - Vespers
10:00 PM - Compline
06:30 AM - Matins
07:30 AM - Lauds
08:00 AM - Divine Liturgy followed by Terce
12:00 PM - Sext
03:00 PM - None
